Timer

Struct Timer

Source
pub struct Timer { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

A tick counter.

Implementations§

Source§

impl Timer

Source

pub fn new() -> Timer

A timer starting at zero.

Source

pub fn tick(&mut self)

Advances the counter by one, saturating at the top of the word range.

Source

pub fn ticks(&self) -> i64

The current count.

Source

pub fn compare(&self) -> i64

The value the count is compared against.

Source

pub fn is_firing(&self) -> bool

True while the timer is asserting an interrupt.

Zero disarms, so a machine that never writes COMPARE is never interrupted. The test is >= rather than == so that a compare value already in the past fires at once instead of being missed.

Source§

fn name(&self) -> &'static str

A name, used in error messages.
Source§

fn read(&mut self, offset: i64) -> Result<Tryte, MemoryError>
